The service was very good,especially Mr Devinda and the team We had nice and delicious high tea in the property It was a very nice view in Colombo city The restaurant staff was very friendly and hopeful.the high tea was never forgotten in my life

It was for ‘high tea’ on 19th April, our experience was really pleasant. I had booked for 16 people and Samadhi had organized seating at the Mansion lounge which was really wonderful. The food & ambiance was great but above all that what stood out most was the service. Samadhi & her team (Nilantha & I think Nimeth) went out of their way to accommodate our many requests. So, thank you dear Samadhi & team for making our time spent there even more enjoyable.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! I checked in for two night for my final leg of a 12 day stay in Sri Lanka. I got to my room and was shown around, but not shown a safe, and could find one anywhere I popped to the gym quickly, and presumed all would be ok, as it’s a 5* hotel, and housekeeping wouldn’t be in until the morning….how wrong I was On returning, my things had been moved, and £1370 had been stolen from my purse I immediately ran to reception, and was understandably distraught I have spent 12hrs in police stations, and the hotel has treated me like a second class citizen. They’ve called me a liar, refused to clean my room, and have not supplied clean towels, tea/coffee, or even water It’s my birthday today, and I fly to Dubai to meet my twin, with no money, after spending two days shacked up in my room due to the way they’ve treated me Avoid this place at all costs, I will be taking this matter further

We went movenpick hotel to get high tea buffet experience and we can get very tasty and lovely experience we had get ever.. every food is very yummy...❤❤ and staff is very gentle and good..after buffet we went rooftop in hotel its incredible area..we can see whoal town..and we met hostess in work rooftop she is name "sajini" and she is very kind person... Thank you..

Spent an unexpected 3 nights in this hotel when our flight to Dubai was cancelled following the flooding at the airport. Firstly our group (who had spent the previous two weeks touring Sri Lanka with a guide) were very pleased with the standard of accommodation offered by Emirates while we awaited our rescheduled flights to Ireland via Dubai. My husband and I were offered a Junior Suite. It was very spacious, clean, comfortable and had magnificent views from the 16th floor. Dining in the 4th floor Ayu restaurant offered multiple choices for every meal. At times some food items weren't as hot as they could have been ....always an issue with buffet meals. Drinking water offered came from a tap which Europeans are not inclined to accept fearing tummy bugs etc. Anushka took care of our room. He was very courteous and friendly and also ensured that we had an adequate supply of water, toiletries, tea and coffee. The area outside the hotel is not very attractive. There are plenty of tuk tuks ready to bring you wherever you want to go but we were hassled a bit by men saying they were hotel employees wanting us to attend a special "gem sale". We were quite firm in our refusal and as a result we weren't pursued any further. Saying "NO" very firmly seems to be the way to drive the message home. We didn't feel unsafe while out walking thankfully. Shopping in the area is limited and you need to take a tuk tuk in order to explore the city's sights and good shopping areas. Always agree the price before taking a tuk tuk trip!
