Reviews
The hotel's location is ideal – situated in a peaceful area yet within walking distance of shopping streets. It's easily accessible by foot. The staff, especially "Pilvi and Aymen", are exceptionally friendly, hospitable, and professional. The room comfortably accommodated two adults, and I was able to work from it with ease. The room, bathroom, and hotel spaces are clean. The bed is comfortable. The restaurant offers delicious and high-quality dishes. While the breakfast spread wasn't that extensive, it was sufficient. Please note that omelets are available for an additional fee (€ 3 - € 5) as they are not included in the breakfast package.
Liked this hotel. It's a bit more quiet than most of the other big chains in the city. Good levels of service and nice breakfast. Accommodation is well appointed. Good location being right in the centre but on a quiet side street so no noise.
The positive of this hotel is that is it located in a great area of the Hague to sightsee and walk about. The negative is that the lighting in the room we had was horrible. There were only two tiny ceiling spotlights (about 2" wide), one of which was centered over the mini-fridge and coffee center. There were side lamps on each side of the bed, plus a small desk light, but nothing overhead to make it easy to see around the room. We used our cell phone flash light to search through our suitcases for items and to walk around because it was so dark in the room. It was horrible. The only good light in the whole room was in the shower! It was just so irritating to have to carry around the cell phone just to see in the room. I would not recommend this hotel for that reason alone. Put some lamps in there! The small table and chair provided were totally unusable because there was no lamp near it. We also struggled to get more heat in the room, even after asking the front desk about it. They had someone check out the thermostat but the room never got warm enough for us. I actually wore my coat in the room to stay warm. It was not a good experience and I would not stay there again.
This hotel was extremely well located. Room were very large and spacious, well designed. Very clean, luxurious. Service was excellent both in the hotel and restaurant. Very good value. Would highly recommend.
We only visited this hotel for one night in August but as a family of 8 we cannot fault it. It was centrally located so we could walk everywhere. The underground car park was comfortingly secure for our 3 vehicles. The hotel rooms were spacious and immaculate with all kinds of special touches. The service was lovely, espeically the young barman who brought our complimentary drinks. Our grandsons loved the breakfast buffet with the pancake making machine and every kind of food imaginable. Thank you for such a brilliant stay.
