Bimhuis

The Bimhuis was founded in 1973 and until the summer of 2004 was located at Oude Schans. In January 2005, the ultramodern music venue opened its doors at the present location, featuring state-of-the-art technical and acoustic solutions for impeccable sound. The concert hall seats more than 200 people. Besides jazz music, the Bimhuis complex hosts a restaurant, late-night bar and a sun terrace by the water. The stage is located in front of a large glass wall, treating the public to a spectacular view of the historic Amsterdam city centre.

Jimmy Woo

This luxurious night club opened its doors in December 2003. It rapidly gained worldwide fame because of the many famous guests and its strict door policy.

The Club is a platform for the young and beautiful and famous for its interior and sound system: Jimmy Woo won the 'Dutch Design' price and was honoured for 'best club sound in the Netherlands'

Panama

Just a 5-minute walk from the hotel, Panama is an exciting club well known for its variety of performing artists. Alicia Keys and Timbaland have been performing on stage as well as famous Dutch DJs Armin van Buren and Tiësto.

It is a club, not too big and with a great ambiance. Separate smoking room. Located in a former Port Authority building on the edge of the city centre, it contains a restaurant, nightclub and theatre – ideal for a classy dinner, drink and dance.

Supperclub

The Supperclub is a trendy restaurant where you can relax whilst the food is brought to your bed, where you can eat, drink and enjoy the live shows. After your meal and a few relaxing drinks you are welcomed into the design bar and club beneath, which kicks-off around 11.00 pm. The music being played is a mix of house and dance, with plenty of space to dance.

Paradiso

Known as the "Temple of Pop", this venue has hosted many national and international artists and DJs.

In 1968, Paradiso opened its doors as a platform for creative talent. Nowadays it has developed into a pop podium, a club and a cultural centre which attracts young people, spectators and artists from Amsterdam and all over the world.

The venue is split into the main hall for 1,500 people and a smaller hall for 250 guests. Located on Leidseplein, the club is a feast for the eye both from the interior and exterior. Being Amsterdam's most well-known club, DJs host many different music nights. The events change regularly, so please do check the venue's website.

Escape

Club Escape has been a part of Dutch nightlife since 1987, with private parties, music, light and décor all adding to the popularity of this progressive club venue. This award-winning club consists of a number of different floors, namely the Lounge, Studio, Café, Club and deLux rooms, with each offering something different to clubbers.

The programming is largely dependent on party organisers. National and international DJs regularly perform.

Expect to queue and dress up, as jeans and trainers are not very welcome.

Red-light district of Amsterdam

Not much is left to the imagination in the city's red-light district. To be fair, everything you might have heard is probably true, but experiencing it in person is something different altogether. This notorious district, also called ‘De Walletjes', happens to be one of the city's oldest and most beautiful areas, with narrow cobblestone streets and 14th century architecture.

Club Air

The AIR is a new nightclub in Amsterdam with international allure, created by Dutch designer Marcel Wanders. The club has a diverse programme, excellent service and a superb interior.
