Shopping in Pattaya

A shopper's haven for both contemporary and traditional options, something for everyone.

Royal Garden Plaza Pattaya

Royal Garden Plaza was the originator of the ‘entertainment mall' concept in Pattaya, bringing together family attractions and activities, a selection of restaurants, and international brand shopping, and it is still a blast of fresh, air-conditioned air to the beach city's shopping scene. Occupying the full block between Beach Road and 2nd Road in Central Pattaya, the mall can be accessed from either side, but for the most impressive facade, go to the 2nd Road entrance and walk underneath the eye catching mock airplane that is half hanging out of the upper floors of the shopping centre. The plane belongs to Ripley's Believe It or Not, a museum of oddball finds, unique curios and a central attraction at the mall.

Thepprasit Night Market

Thepprasit Road Night Market is amongst the most popular of the local bazaars in Pattaya. Found close to the Sukhumvit Road end of its namesake street, it is adjacent to the Outlet Shopping Mall and spreads over most of the parking area in front of the K-Hut Complex.

Also known as “Pattaya Weekend Market” and “Kankheha Thepprasit Market”, the principal attraction for many of the locals is the colourful array of street food. Set out in the shelter of the metal roofs of the market's largest permanent structures, the two rows of vendors sell all manner of Thai delights, from fresh fruit, juices and seafood to noodles, nibbles and desserts. There are some tables and seats in amongst the sellers and stalls, but finding an empty space can be quite a challenge!

  • extensive array of souvenirs
  • Open Fri-Sun: 5.00 am – 10.00 pm
