It was a great experience, the hôtel was beautiful with a good services, you can feel that you're at home. They take care of you. They have a great concierge his name is Iqbal He is a great man, helpful and so kind.
Actually I’ve been staying in hotel with my family on January but just got a time to leave a review. First of all I wanted to say thank you to all hotel staff and especially manager Rupa. She was very kind and professional. Hotel food is very delicious, highly recommend the restaurant on the ground floor. Location is good, and reception will always assist to book a taxi. And yes, for someone, who does not know, in UAE there is a fine for the false calling taxi - thats why I think people should not blame hotel staff. Thank you Grand Plaza Mövenpick, will definitely come again!
I am leaving this review because I am sad to say that the manager Rupa to whom we had a misunderstanding with before has insulted us again. The first time, she accused us of not wanting to pay a taxi that we do not use by the way. It was booked by the hotel on an app that resulted in the taxi rate starting at 12 Dirhams instead of 5 Dirhams. I explained to her that it is inappropriate and unfair to approach me in front of other guest accusing me of not paying without having a clear understanding of what occurred. After I explained to her what happened she apologized but clearly this is not behavior a manager should display, I believe she thinks we cannot afford our vacation because... Second Incident... the hotel booked out COVID PCR test. However, despite me advising Daniel and showing him the US 24hour requirement he assured me we should book and take the test on 5/13 as it takes 24 hours for results. Well, when we went to check into our flights online the test results were not accepted after we had paid 220 Dirhams. The facility that conducted the test said we should ask the hotel to pay for a second test as we were given wrong advise. My nerves are a wreck! I cannot stop crying and our flight leaves in 5 hours. Hopefully we will have the results before out flight. The guys at the desk were going to take care of the payment for the second test as this was not our fault but Ms. Rupa (Passive Aggressive) decided we needed to pay. However, she had arranged for us to have a discount for 60 dirhams. No, thank you! We paid the full amount 360 Dirhams in addition to the 220 Dirhams we had paid for the hotels misguidance. Which she also said was accurate by the way. I do not want to discount the staff overall the staff, as the worked hard to make our experience pleasant. I am only given the hotel a TWO STAR review because companies must be mindful to not place people with underlined basis in a management position. Clearly, Rupa feels we are unable or unwilling to pay, despite the fact that we paid in full for our room with the Executive Club. I am literally sick to my stomach right now.
It was a stunning stay at grand plaza movenpick it’s really clean and the staff were very nice and friendly specially HANNA at the reception she is really nice and respectful lady . Very good for family
I really would like to thank Mr. Minda for his kindness and well welcoming. I’ll keep coming back to this place. It’s nice chilling place. You can enjoy your cigar with your favorite drink along with nice ambiance and food. Best Regards to all the team
