Zaid R. At Movenpick was excellent! Amazing service and very friendly! So welcoming! Thank you! If you need an after hike drink in Petra head over and ask for Zaid! Great selection of drinks and lovely atmosphere! Will for sure come again! Beautiful decor!
Our accommodations were clean and comfortable. We had a great dining experience with our server Zaid. Lastly, the location is wonderful, literally across the street from the Petra entrance. I would definitely make reservations here again the next time I visit Jordan.
Zaid.R was a wonderful waiter. He was very nice to me and my friend. I will definitely come back to eat here. The dining area is very clean, the furniture has so much details, and the atmosphere is so calm and relaxing. The price is fair, and they have a great food selection. It's a great place to eat when visiting Jordan.
This hotel is across the street from the Petra Museum and the entrance to the Archaeological Park. This makes it so easy to visit the ruins and especially return back after Petra at Night. My room was comfortable. I was not pleased with the breakfast. It took a long time for the server to bring a plate of food to my table. I could not eat most of it and he did not understand English when I tried to explain it.
The Movenpick Bar is a “don’t miss” when visiting Petra. It’s the perfect place to end your day after a long walk visiting Petra. The ambience itself is picture worthy, the service is impeccable (thanks to Zaid who served me two nights in a row!) and the food is very good. I highly recommend Riz Casimir - wow! Even if you don’t stay at the hotel Movenpick, it’s 100% worth a stop at the hotel to visit this lovely bar (very few hotels in the area have a liquor license in any event). Enjoy!
