In 1968, Paradiso opened its doors as a platform for creative talent.  Nowadays it has developed into a pop podium, a club and a cultural centre which attracts young people, spectators and artists from Amsterdam and all over the world.

The venue is split into the main hall for 1,500 people and a smaller hall for 250 guests. Located on Leidseplein, the club is a feast for the eye both from the interior and exterior. Being Amsterdam’s most well-known club, DJs host many different music nights. The events change regularly, so please do check the venue's website.

Tip: Always buy tickets from the venue's website and not the band's, as it is not always guaranteed that the venue will recognise tickets from other sources. A small membership fee is compulsory for entrance to this Amsterdam club and can be paid for in advance or when you arrive. In general, doors open about half an hour before shows begin, but for big names a queue lining the block outside Paradiso is not unusual, so be prepared to show up a little earlier to get a good spot.
