“le chalet” - Swiss grill
In our "Le Chalet" restaurant, you'll be able to enjoy a unique taste sensation. Our quality meats are prepared in a Josper charcoal grill-oven at 300-350°. The aroma of fine wood smoke gives the meat its distinct flavour. Our menu is complemented by much-loved classics from the "Appenzell Lounge", and only high-quality Swiss products are used.
Thanks to Coravin, a sophisticated serving device, you can also enjoy premium wines by the glass with us.
We are going on summer break from the 1st of July until the 31st of August 2019. From the 1st of September 2019 we are open as usual. In the meantime, please try our Terrace Hits from our Barbecue Smoker.

Swiss Prime Beef
Our house butcher Angst delivers the best Swiss beef, which has been aged for 4 weeks on the bone. For that special taste we grill the meat on our Josper grill oven, which allows us to grill your meat at a temperature between 300° and 350°C.
Our focus lies on serving top quality dishes and beverages. A personalised and friendly service provided by our attentive team is a matter of course. We serve a varied selection of special wines that perfectly complement our quality Swiss Prime beef.
The decor is designed to create a unique chalet atmosphere. We have predominantly used Swiss materials including the modern fireplace made from Onsernone granite from the Ticino region as well as the Swiss handmade slate platters.
Our selection includes Mövenpick specials as well as international dishes. Seasonal variations complete the menu.
