Montreux Jazz Festival

The Montreux Jazz Festival is held annually on the shores of Lake Geneva. It is one of the most prestigious festivals in Europe and the second largest in the world after the Montreal International Jazz Festival. The event at Lake Geneva has welcomed legends such as Prince, Ella Fitzgerald and the Black Eyed Peas in the past.

Paleo Festival

Lausanne Marathon

The Lausanne Marathon is an annual marathon race held since 1993. In addition to the marathon, a half-marathon, a 10 km race, 10 km walking and Nordic walking races, and a mini-marathon of 4 km are organised. The Lausanne Marathon is one of the rare Swiss races that also organises a half-marathon for wheelchairs and hand cycles.
