Our hotel is located alongside the water's edge of the river IJ in the vibrant heart of Amsterdam and can easily be reached via multiple forms of transport. Amsterdam Central Station is walking distance from Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre.
The direct train from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport (AMS) to Central Station takes 20 minutes and by taxi to the hotel is around 30 minutes. We are pleased to provide free parking for bicycles. The "Muziekgebouw/Bimhuis" tram stop is in front of the hotel, which is adjacent to the Passenger Cruise Terminal. Canal boats and water taxis can stop in front of the hotel at our own jetty.

Travelling to the hotel
A tram stop is located in front of the hotel. Take tram 26 (direction IJburg) from Central Station and get off at the first stop, which is called "Muziekgebouw/Bimhuis".
Take exit S114 from the Eastern Highway (Ringweg) A10. At the end of the Piet Hein tunnel, turn right towards Central Station. Follow the signs P-Piet Hein / City Centre. The Piet Hein parking garage offers electric car drivers the possibility to recharge their cars at charge points.
Interparking garage IJ-oever Centrum: 200 m from the hotel. Purchase a EUR 15 value card for 24 hours at the hotel reception (regular rate at EUR 40 / day). More information.
Underneath the hotel: There is a parking garage under the hotel (costs EUR 4.29 per hour, no discounts available).

From Amsterdam Central Station, follow the Ruyterkade in the eastern direction and park your bike in the free bike parking underneath the hotel.
From P+R Zeeburg, follow the Zuiderzeeweg and turn right on the Zeeburgerdijk. Turn right on Th. K. van Lohuizenlaan and then left on the Zeeburgerpad. Turn right into Panamalaan and keep following this road onto the Piet Heinkade.
Public transport: Direct train to Central Station takes approximately 20 minutes, or 25-30 minutes by taxi.
Taxi Electric: This taxi service operates 100% electric cars which are equipped with free Wi-Fi access and a tablet. All electric cars will apply by-the-meter tariffs with a cap on Schiphol transfers (maximum EUR 45.50 per ride). Pick-up at the Schiphol Meeting Point is also possible and you can make a direct reservation for an electric taxi. Non-electric taxis will charge different rates and do not need a reservation in advance.
By car: Take the A4 highway towards Amsterdam. Take the A10 Eastern Highway (Ringweg) and take the exit S114. For further directions, please see above.
