New in August: renovated rooms and a new building face

Learn more about the upcoming changes. As the comfort of our guests is our priority, we are now refurbishing 120 rooms as well as the main building, the facade of the hotel and the kitchen is being completely renovated.

Visualisation of the new Classic category

Münster : Number 1 cycling city in Germany

This is what inspired the new style of 120 rooms in the Classic category. Here you will find details, objects and materials of the modern bicycles.

Ground plan of the new Classic category

The modern Classic rooms are 20-25 sqm in size and feature comfortable furniture. They are equipped with a king, queen or single bed, a large desk and a LCD TV. In the bathroom there is a combined bathtub and shower.

For the renovation of the building, we focused on both its energy efficiency and visual appearance. The former red brick facade of the main building is replaced by a new curtain wall made of terracotta and the window is being replaced.

After many years of use, the hotel kitchen as well is being renovated: a brand new floor, refurbished walls and a new water and sewage system. The kitchen concept is adapted to the standards and offering a great working environment to our kitchen team.

Sustainability for a green future

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts' objective is to operate sustainably and limit its impact on the environment. For this project, we also attached great importance to the choice of sustainable and environmentally friendly materials and developped an energy efficient concept.
