We overall had a good stay here - a nice base for exploring Hanoi with a good breakfast. It’s about £1 in a Grab to just about anywhere in Hanoi, but also close enough to walk. It’s slightly quieter here vs other parts of Hanoi, which is welcomed as Hanoi is chaotic. Nice staff and good facilities.
HANOI was the final leg of our trip and booked Movenpik due to good reviews. This is in the French Quarter and great decision compared to the madness and noise in the old quarter. Staff are polite and good location to all main shopping areas. There is a chocolate hour 5-6 which serves only little cakes and a fondue fountain which was random for a business class hotel. It’s not really a resort for young families so slightly odd feature to have for an afternoon tea / ps tea and coffee is not included in that offer. Savoury snacks would be more appropriate. The pool is right next to the bar area and feels it lacks privacy but there were few guests during our stay so was easily overlooked. Loved the gym and sauna - great design plan and decore. Stayed a few nights and loved the peace and quiet after a hectic day at the markets in the old quarter
Beautiful and spacious room. Amazing hotel with amazing staff. From bellman to front desk and lounge. They know everything about nearby area, lady at concierge gave me address for hair cut and it was so good. And the restaurant with balcony which she advised is excellent. We forget our card at hotel and she contact me right away for making me feel safe.
A stylish city hotel just a short walk from the old town. Beautiful room with excellent service. We arrived very early after overnight flight from the U.K. A room was made available just before 10am obviously well before the usual 2pm check in. Nice touch was the complimentary chocolate happy hour at 5pm each day in ground floor bar area. Great pool on floor 4. We had breakfast each morning which was excellent with western and Asian choices., A good base for exploring Hanoi.
Hotel may be nice but they are scam artists. they have held a deposit on my credit card for two rooms and its been more than a month since my departure they are not releasing it blocking my card so my limit is stuck. I have called three times and they promise they will do it first time they said it takes 10 working days second time they said very soon an third time they pretended they cant hear me and asked me to email them. How can Accor group behave like cheap con artists? Shame on you Accor , Shame on you Movenpick - Ive stayed in this brand in Morocco and never again. its doesn't matter how good your hotel may be if you cheat your customers financially Is there no financial authority who can regulate these cheaters?
