Mövenpick Colombo

This was my first visit to the Rooftop bar; a lot of people were saying it had a nice view. And yes, indeed it had a beautiful view. However, the rain ruined it. My friend and I ordered Happy Hour drinks and the Negambo Pork with roast paan. Man, that was like heaven. The roast paan was so yummy. We requested an additional three pieces from the staff, and they were nice enough to facilitate it (of course, with a price). I believe it was Kaushanka who helped us at the rooftop bar, with a beautiful smile, and assisted us with moving to a covered location when the rain started. The rain disturbed our hangout, so we had to move downstairs. During this time, we met Sajini from Vistas Rooftop bar, such a sweet girl and very friendly and helpful. It's definitely a service-from-the-heart attitude. She guided us to the bar downstairs, made sure we were seated at a comfortable place, and took our order. Our cocktails were made by Avantha from Mansion Bar; we told him we needed them strong, and we got them exactly how we needed them. We ordered Cosmopolitans. Great service and great attitude of staff. Keep up the good work!

Visited Movenpik for their high tea buffet for Mothers day and it was a really good experience. We were well taken care of by Sajini. Thank you Sajini for the great customer service! Will be definitely recommending to others for the high tea.

The experience is good with great food and staff in all restaurants. Staff is always ready to walk extra mile for making the stay comfortable. One of the cleaning room staff Anushka was already great and helpful. Was travelling for office meeting but will be back soon with family.

Thanks to housekeeper Anushka keeping my room clean and tidy so I have a good rest after busy day. Keep up the good work and hospitality! The location of the hotel are good and superb ocean view, food at top notch (if you like mixture of spicy). High recommend for leisure and business stay in this hotel.

Very comfortable hotel, we stayed only one night before touring but it was a good choice to get over the long flights. We were kindly upgraded to a beach view room which was large and very well equipped. We managed a brief swim in the rooftop pool before a storm arrived but very enjoyable. The international buffet for dinner provided an excellent choice and so did the breakfast choices, where a chef introduced us to hoppers and Jannith looked after us. Hotel is also conveniently located for the city sights.
