Assinie is a seaside resort in Côte d'Ivoire, on the edge of the Guinea Golf, located 94 km east of Abidjan. We can distinguish the Assinie area bordered only by the ocean and accessible by road, and to the east, it constitutes a peninsula between ocean and lagoon. About fifteen kilometers long, this very narrow peninsula (100 to 1000 m) is occupied by luxury villas and thatched huts. Access is by car, by private boat or via canoes crossing the lagoon.
