It was my third visit. There are no words to describe this hotel. They always look forward to the best and they are really the best. Distinguished management from a distinguished manager. The hotel workers are wonderful and at the highest level of professional. I would like to thank Mr. Alic G.M , Mr.Yasser Allam for everything he did for me , Mr. Nabil R.S, Chef Ayman breakfast . Pasta chef at dinner .pastry chef .waiter Mostafa .waiter gaber on the beach he is a good man .waiter abu elhassan .waiter ahmed rest on the beach .I don't want to forget anyone because they all deserve appreciation and I will surely repeat the visit many times Thank you to all the Mövenpick family❤️
Great stay as always, this being our 4th time here.The hotel is not the newest but well maintained. Rooms are conditioned at >24°C which seems warm but is in fact better considering the heat outside (34°C) and saves energy, which is too often disregarded in low-energy-cost-countries. Mattresses could be a little harder, but we slept very well overall. Ahmed would leave animal arrangements made of towel for our son and some chocolates wich he really loved. The great USP of Mövenpick is its food, which does not make you sick like in many other hotels in Egypt, and is often (not everyday, Thursday is an exception) superb. With half pension you pay for drinks and lunch where you must consider that printed prices lack ~25% tax and tips, which I find a little intransparent. The service is great and very attentive. We will miss especially Mohammed Ali from the Divers Bar and dive guide Hany as well as Mustafa who was always willingto okay a good bolleyball match. The selling of additional trips etc used to be annoying which improved but is nevertheless still a bit much. Also, while I enjoy small talk from time to time hiding behind a book should signal that you are currently not interested, which was not the understanding of all Beach staff. The only big fail was the kid's club, which did not speak German (although 80% German speaking guests, and thus, children) and little English. If I believe my 4 your old, the caretaker was on her phone instead of playing with him, which is a no-go for me. When we picked him up after 2 hours he cried, because he felt so lost and bored, so he did not want to go there again. We passed the kid's club everyday multiple times and there were never any kids, so while I do understand that it's easier if you watch multiple kids that play with each other I cannot understand that if you get paid for a full day, you would not even give a ⁰100% for 2 hours within one week. To summ it all we had a great time and would definitely come back again! We'll sure will miss almost everything from our stay.
I have been to many beautiful seaside hotels in my life, all over the world. What I found here, however, surpassed everything I had encountered so far. Beautiful, spacious grounds where everything can be reached on foot in just a few minutes, Rooms and bathrooms that are always perfectly cleaned and in impeccable condition despite their location by the sea. The daily changing theme buffet in the evening in the main restaurant leaves nothing to be desired, very diverse, varied, balanced, allergy sufferers are taken into account and have a nice selection and vegetarian and vegan food is served on request. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, competent and courteous! Whether it's the gardener, pool boy, receptionist (Essam, thank you for your extremely friendly welcome and support) or our waiters (Ashraf, you welcomed us with a smile every time, fulfilled our every wish, provided us with good advice and tips and kept your team perfectly under control), everyone is at the top level. The beach offers a lot of privacy due to the woven partitions, there are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas and a lot of attention is paid to cleanliness here too. For me, this is definitely a hotel that I can and will recommend to everyone and that I will certainly visit again as soon as possible!
I was with my best friend for holidays there. And I just say, it was perfect. The hotel Areal and all the staff was excellent. Special thanks to the staff at breakfast and dinner (Ashraf and company). Competent and very friendly. I never had a sich a nice staff in a hotel. I really felt like in paradise. We will come back next year and hope to see again the same hotel staff. Thanks for everything
One of the hidden gems in Egypt not just in el Qusier area. The resort have all what you need for a relaxed vacation away from the city. Starting from the room decoration which is kind of different from most common hotels in Egypt. Service being provided by very nice team all hardworking for your satisfaction. We booked 3 rooms on a half board which was more than enough as you will really have a tasty food and nice variety. Part of our group tried Fresco restaurant, but it wasn't good as expected so better to stick to the main open buffet restaurant. Something you don't find in any resort is the chocolate hour from 3 to 4 pm where everything was done to perfection. The beach is one of the best in Egypt, al Qaduim bay where the resort and beach is located on is really full lots of corals. The resort is best choice for a peaceful vacation
