Honestly, I and my friends love to stay at this hotel. Only a few minutes away from the MRT and BTS stations, the rooms are cozy, the staffs are nice and the services are excellent. However, except for a CS from the executive floor--Jean! I have become a platinum member for years of the ACCOR group. I support I could enjoy the benefits, but Jean was the first one to tell me there is a charge for the guest. Anyway, the way she told me was condescending and disrespectful and of course, her attitude was so arrogant. I was kind of insulted by her in front of my friend. I went to the lobby and made a complaint to the duty manager, he helped me to fix the issue. However, I met Jean on the next few days on the executive floor and she did seem not interested to greet or serve me even though I was a guest at the executive lounge. If it was the hospitality she gave to the platinum member, I would suggest the management put her into the back office instead.
Great place to stay in a very busy and exciting Bangkok. Our room was very good the hotel is very central to the restaurants and bars and the sky train, and if you have not been to Bangkok before this location is Important. A big thank you to NUM at the concierge his knowledge of Bangkok is fantastic .
The hotel is well located, they have a 30 minute shuttle to Terminal 21 daily till 6pm. The staff are friendly and helpful . Mr Num thé Concierge goes out of his way to help out with any information. Breakfast is good and the rooftop restaurant has a pleasant environment. The rooms really need to be refurbished, it looks old . The gym also needs an upgrade . Housekeeping needs to improve as service is slow in anything required in the room. Several reminders are needed from the guests .
As a 4 time quest at the hotel we always enjoy the ambience and exceptional welcome we receive. Mr Hamad and his staff go out of their way to make it a great stay. The hotel looks a little tired after the covid period but things are in hand to get it back up to its usual standard. Loved it will stay again this year.
Num our concierge was fantastic! He helped us out with many questions and gave us some great tips, food recommendations for our stay here in Bangkok. The tuktuk provided by the Movenpick was a great perk! Thanks again Num!
