Absolutely amazing service & venue. I highly recommend Mövenpick but also even higher recommend private sea transfer from Caticlan airport - this is a must & worth every cent. The memories that we have created here with my family are priceless all because of the staff here during our stay & most grateful from the front office big welcome from arrival and departure
The place is relaxing with its perfect blend of man made recreation and nature’s creation. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious and affordable.
It is a beautiful hotel with its own beach. The room was adequate, breakfast was very delicious. Employees are kind and helpful. But you need to consider a few points: Although it was not the hotel's fault, the sea was full of seaweed. I saw that they cleaned the seaweed that washed ashore with the tide only 2 days out of my 5-day stay. It should be done daily because it smells bad. The hotel is surrounded by wonderful trees, naturally, there are ants everywhere. This may bother you. Cocktails cost about 10 USD, if you sell cocktails at twice the price of Boracay, you should put the appropriate amount of alcohol in them. Finally, more shuttles should be provided to D'mall in the evening hours.
Movenpick is a glorious resort in a sensational location. It is made even better by staff like Paul at the beachside bar. We cherished every afternoon, watching the incredible sunset with a tasty cocktail in hand. Paul gave us exceptional service and made us feel right at home. Thank you Movenpick and Paul for a great stay!
I just spent 7 nights at the resort with my 2 kids and husband and our experience was awesome. The hotel structure is beautiful: swimming pool, the bar and of course the most beautiful beach in the area! Room was very nice! But I think what made the difference was the amazing service from the staff in special the ones working really hard at the bar (super special thanks to John (2x), Rommel, Rose, Rinard, JL, Jay, Ali, Rich and Shirley) —> thank you for making our experience so special. Food is very nice and drinks too. The live music at night is a plus! For further improvement: happy hour is very busy so I think its a bit hard on the staff. Management should assign more staff to support.
