Friendly relaxing experience after 5 days trekking.
After 5 days trekking and wild camping in the Dana reserve, we entered Petra through the back door. After exiting sought a finer time and stayed at the Movenpick, conveniently located to the Petra entrance it did not disappoint. Everything you would expect of a hotel of this standing was superb. The Al Saraya Restraunt gave a fine evening meal, and equally the breakfast did not disapoint. After another day in Petra we returned and had a few beers in the Al Maqa'ad Bar, Zaid.R was a superb host, making our stay very enjoyable. Totally recommend staying here. Just a shame tourists are too scared to visit due to the goings on in other parts of the Middle East. Jordan is safe for all.

Perfect location for a visit to the Petra site
Great hospitality. Great location right across from the Petra site. They have great amenities as well. People in our group really liked the buffet and the pool. They also have a chocolate hour and a happy hour nightly. The bar attendant Zaid was especially attentive. I used the laundry service and was very pleased as well.

Excellent stay!
Great location, super clean and nice hotel. Chocolate and Happy hour was a nice added touch, Zaid was very attentive and kept the drinks flowing. Restaurant Buffett was quite delicious with quite a few options. The deserts were quite spectacular!

Nice Stay
The hotel is very well located, next to the main historical site just cross the road to the visitor center. The staff were friendly , room was very clean and Al Ghadeer Roof Garden was amazing specially the BBQ dinner and the service. Thank you.

Incredible Hotel
This hotel is amazing. It’s right across from the visitors center. I would not stay anywhere else! The staff was incredible! I One morning I woke up with my back bothering me and the reception staff called a taxis and had them deliver ibuprofen to the hotel for no extra charge!! Also the staff at the rooftop restaurant were awesome especially Mary Ann!! Thanks to everyone for making your visit to Petra 7 Star!!!!!!
