History and Archaeology museum

The Archaeology and History Museum has permanent and temporary exhibits showcasing 15,000 years of regional history.

The Archaeology Museum is located in the famous Palais de Rumine, which is situated on Place de la Riponne. This cantonal museum takes you through millennia of history with its permanent exhibitions. Temporary exhibitions may focus on Greek or Egyptian antiquities. It is closed on Mondays, but otherwise the museum welcomes visitors from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm daily.
