One of the best museums the Netherlands has got to offer is called the Mauritshuis and it is located in the city center of The Hague. After 2 years of renovation the Mauritshuis is open again for public.
See the famous painting of Johannes Vermeer, the 'Girl with a Pearl Earring'. You can also admire the "Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp” by Rembrandt and many other fine Dutch Golden Age painters such as Jan Steen, Carl Fabritius and Paulus Potter belonging to the permanent exhibition.
It’s a compact collection spread over two floors in the intimate rooms of a seventeenth-century monument.
