Van Gogh Museum
This museum, which opened in 1973, hosts the largest collection of van Gogh paintings in the world including 200 paintings, 400 drawings and 700 letters. Sunflowers (1889) and Bedroom in Arles (1888) form part of this collection. The museum also has sculptures by Auguste Rodin and paintings by Paul Gauguin, Édouard Manet, Claude Monet and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.

It is located at Museum Square close to the Stedelijk Museum, the Rijksmuseum and the Concertgebouw. In 2013, the museum was the second-most visited museum in the Netherlands and the 35th-most visited art museum in the world.
